Palm Shadow is a songwriter and producer from the California desert. She writes melancholic pop songs where introspective lyrics cut through lush soundscapes and noisy guitars.

On her latest single, “Look At You,” she channels the yearning of a Y2K romcom soundtrack with fuzz pedals, bitcrushed vocals, and infectious pop hooks. “I saw you in slow motion / like you were floating,” she confides, recalling the first moments of an all-consuming crush. The track sinks into the blur of infatuation, where time bends, colors feel more vivid, and everything else fades away.

“Look At You” is the lead single from Palm Shadow’s forthcoming 7” split with Magical Powers, out July 10th on Callback Projects.
